Re: Netgear R6700v3 Router troubleshooting A quick update. so far so good. If the 48-hour repeating of the disconnection has been disrupted or eliminated by the router reset, I do not know at this point.
I purchased the Nighthawk AC1900 router last spring. I had been using the router provided by my cable company but was not satisfied with the coverage in my house. Since I've had this new router, I've had consistent issues with the connection dropping. I could be on my laptop on a Zoom call and I get booted out, browsing on my phone, etc.
I was able to get one satellite to connect to the router with the ethernet cable, satellite LED turned blue. But, once unplugged from the ethernet the satellite LED went back to amber. On the Nighthawk app I am seeing two routers under "Youre Products", one is a local connection and the other is showing connected via Anywhere access.
V1.0.4.76_10.1.82) I sharted having two major problems with the router: 1. Every other day the DNS breaks down, and I have to restart the router get the internet working again. This is the most troubling issue, impacting work meetings and such at the worst times. 2. Circle app does not load the visited sites for parental control any more.
i updated the firmware when the update was available. i've noticed a lot of negative feedback from the last version--88 i believe. i'm running my router dual-band with both 5mgz and 2.4 mgz. i do not have a guest network running. one thing i noticed when i was originally troubleshooting was that ntp was not turned on and i did turn that on.
Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 system MK63, AX1800. Not sure whey this doesn't appear in the pulldown window. Installed this system about a month ago. It work flawlessly up until a few days ago. We had no issues the first month. They all of a sudden, it lost the two satellites. I tried all the typical dis...
I am using a Nighthawk D7000v2 as my main router. When I change settings on the router via netgear genie (router web page), most of the time it will refuse to connect after updating. The router stills works fine and connects to the internet. I can still ping the router but I can't connect to the web page until I physically reboot the router.
Hi everyone. I have Xfinity's Gig speed Internet plan and recently purchased the Nighthawk CAX80. Currently, its cable connection status shows as poor. I did a quick search in the forums and I come across multiple responses that state to have the ISP come out to check the line up to the modem.
I’ve Had Nighthawk AC 1900 Smart WiFi Router 11 months w/o issues. Recently started dropping the internet signal. I now reboot about every 20 minutes. When working signal strength is off the charts. Xfinity (& neighbors) confirm signal to us is/has experienced no interruptions. Modem is Aris Surfbo...
I had a short power outage and since then, I can’t connect to my AX4 router WiFi. I did the reset, wait, over and over. All the lights are lit up green on the router, but cannot connect. Can’t seem to fix this on the setup page either. Help!!
