No you do not. A Known Traveler Number is for PreCheck. You can get into PreCheck via a number of programs, including Nexus. For Nexus people, put your PASSID (from the back of your card) into the Known Traveler Number field. A redress number is like an override if your name is on the Do Not Fly. Most of us don't have them.

This does not require any sort of advance registration with the airline, as far as I know. So, short answer: there is nothing you can or should do with your Global Entry number, or your card, on this trip. Also note that Global Entry and TSA PreCheck are entirely unrelated to redress numbers, except that some booking systems let you enter the ...

My wife and I just finished our Global Entry interviews today, and we both already got the notifications that we're approved. I just logged into each account in order to copy the PASSID number so I can fill it in for tickets we already have booked. I noticed our Membership/PASSID numbers are the same.

  10. Are Irish citizens eligible for Global Entry or TSA Precheck?

    travel.stackexchange.com/questions/88334/are-irish-citizens-eligible-for...

The Australian and New Zealand SmartGate program is available to Irish citizens but Global Entry is not -- perhaps not yet. It would make tremendous sense to allow them, not sure why not. The Redress Number doesn't change anything, alas. It's for an entire different purpose: because the USA keeps a "do not fly list" and is tied to names.
