Jieyang Airport railway station (Chinese: 揭阳机场站; pinyin: Jiēyáng Jīchǎng zhàn), formerly known as Chaoshan Airport railway station (Chinese: 潮汕机场站; pinyin: Cháoshàn Jīchǎng zhàn) during construction, [1] is a railway station in Jiedong District, Jieyang, Guangdong, China.
As of January 2014, Chaoshan station is a major station on the Xiamen-Shenzhen Railway, and is a terminus station for the G-series Guangzhou-Chaoshan route, starting at Guangzhou South railway station. [2] The station also operates D-series trains, with destinations including Shenzhen, Xiamen, Hangzhou and Shanghai. [3]
