United Skates of America, Inc. is a national roller skating rink chain founded in 1971. [1] As of 2024, it is headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It operates 12 family entertainment centers in Arizona, California, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, North Carolina, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, and Rhode Island.
The present roller rink was "designed" circa 1992. [5] [clarification needed] It became the Branch Brook Park Roller Skating Center in 1996, which may have been the year it was purchased by United Skates of America, Inc., who are credited with revitalizing the property.
