The Thornton Village Historic District is a national historic district that is located in Thornbury Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.Situated in the crossroads at the intersection of Glen Mills and Thornton Roads in the village of Thornton, this district includes thirteen contributing buildings that were built between 1750 and 1855, some of which were created in the Federal style.
Thornton is an unincorporated community spanning Thornbury Township, Concord Township and Middletown Township in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, United States. The George W. Hill Correctional Facility , located in the townships of Thornbury and Concord, [ 1 ] has a Thornton postal address.

PA 420 leads north 2.5 miles (4.0 km) to U.S. Route 1 in Springfield Township and south 3 miles (5 km) to Interstate 95 in Tinicum Township .

High Hill Farm, also known as Connemara Farm, is an historic farm complex which is located in Thornton, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986 by John and Ethel Giblin.
