Early Edition is an American fantasy comedy-drama television series that aired on CBS from September 28, 1996, to May 27, 2000. Set in Chicago, Illinois, it follows the adventures of a man who mysteriously receives each Chicago Sun-Times newspaper the day before it is actually published, and who uses this knowledge to prevent terrible events every day.

In The U.S. Seasons 1, 2 & 3 were released on January 31, 2006, Seasons 4, 5 & 6 were released March 28, 2006 and Seasons 7, 8 & 9 were released on June 6, 2006. In 2008, each season were released as one single DVD case each containing 6 discs except Season 5 and Season 9 which contain 5 discs.
Rhino Home Video released several episodes from the Comedy Channel and Comedy Central eras on VHS from April 1996 to January 2001. As of 2004, all of the tapes are out of print, but all episodes originally released on home video have been released on DVD, either as a single or part of a volume pack except for 309 – The Amazing Colossal Man due to licensing issues with the original movie.
The DVD boxset for season three was released by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment in Region 1 on November 23, 2004, twelve years after it had completed broadcast on television. It was also released in Region 2 on November 1, 2004, and on October 18, 2004, in Region 4 .
