Omar Benson Miller (born 7 October, 1978) [1] is an American actor. [2] He is known for his work as Walter Simmons on CSI: Miami (2009–2012), as Charles Greane on Ballers (2015–2019), as the voice of Raphael on Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2018–2020) and its 2022 film, and on the CBS comedy series The Unicorn (2019–2021).
He was part of the original cast of CSI: Miami, which premiered in 2002. He later directed and wrote the episode "Hunting Ground" (season 9, episode 16). He left the main cast five episodes into season 8 and was credited as a recurring cast member for eight episodes.
CBS has ordered the unscripted, true-crime docuseries “The Real CSI: Miami” based on the drama “CSI: Miami,” which aired from 2002 to 2012 (for 10 seasons and 232 episodes).
The characters have appeared in various media, including the spin-off series World of Winx, a comic book series, and video games. In 2012, new episodes of the series incorporated CGI-animated sequences that rendered the characters in 3D.
