Brent Thomas Adams (June 3, 1948 - November 2, 2022) was an American judge in Nevada's Second Judicial District, located in Reno, Washoe County, Nevada.He served for 25 years, eventually becoming Chief Judge of that court.

Renown Health, formerly known as the Washoe Health System, was founded in 1862 during a smallpox outbreak. [4] The clinic became the area's first hospital when Nevada became a state in 1864. [ 4 ] In 1875, 40 acres were purchased and the hospital opened the following year with 40 beds.
