Monsters Under the Bed is an album by the Canadian hard rock band Honeymoon Suite, released in 1991. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The band was now a trio, consisting of Johnnie Dee , Dermot "Derry" Grehan , and returning keyboardist Ray Coburn.
The song uses the analogy of a monster hiding under a child's bed to represent troubles in one's life. Taste of Country writer Sterling Whitaker wrote that "Church sings over simple acoustic guitar chords to open the track. But as the song progresses, he admits that he's turned to prayer to face his all-too-real challenges as an adult."
The monsters under the bed: the primary villains of the comic strip, along with Moe: a diverse set of bizarre-looking photophobic creatures, who live under Calvin's bed and periodically plan to eat Calvin, but are outwitted by him on each occasion. Only two of the monsters have names; one is Maurice, and another Winslow.

Under the Bed is the 2008 debut album by Josh and the Empty Pockets. [1] In an interview with Phil Ponce on Chicago Tonight, Josh explains that the debut album is about growing up and that the title Under the Bed comes from the lyrics “where have the monsters under my bed gone” on one of the album's songs.
