The 2024–25 season is the 141st season in the history of Coventry City Football Club and their fifth consecutive season in the Championship. In addition to the domestic league , the club would also participate in the FA Cup , and the EFL Cup .
On 1 June, Coventry City announced their first pre-season friendly, against Exeter City. [1] A day later, a second pre-season trip was confirmed, to Milton Keynes Dons. [2] A third friendly was also added to the schedule, against Forest Green Rovers. [3] A week later, a fourth fixture was confirmed, against Shrewsbury Town. [4]
