Tito Manlio (Italian pronunciation: [ˈtiːto ˈmanljo]; RV 738) is an opera (dramma per musica) in three acts by Antonio Vivaldi, to a libretto by Matteo Noris.It was written in celebration of the marriage of Philip of Hesse-Darmstadt (1671–1736), [1] the governor of Mantua, which he had announced at Christmas.

In the 6th century BC, Mantua was an Etruscan village which, in the Etruscan tradition, was re-founded by Ocnus. [5] [6] The name may derive from the Etruscan god Mantus.

They were published in 1725 in Amsterdam, together with eight additional concerti, as Il cimento dell'armonia e dell'inventione (The Contest Between Harmony and Invention). The Four Seasons is the best known of Vivaldi's works.
