The Black Watch is an American independent rock band from Santa Barbara, California, United States, whose only constant member has been singer, guitarist, and primary songwriter, John Andrew Fredrick. [1] Through their thirty years in the recording industry, the group has affiliated with at least ten different record labels.
Los Gatos Memorial Park is the principle cemetery of Los Gatos, California, established in 1889. It occupies some thirty acres, with the main entrance at 2255 Los Gatos-Almaden Road, San Jose, California 95124. [1] By the late 1880s, Los Gatos needed a cemetery, and the matter was considered by the Odd Fellows Lodge.
Los Gatos is Spanish for "The Cats". [10] The name derives from the 1839 Alta California land grant that encompassed the area, which was called La Rinconada de Los Gatos ("The Corner of the Cats"), where the cats refers to the cougars (mountain lions) and bobcats that are indigenous to the foothills in which the town is located.

The group was started in the wake of an earlier band Los Gatos Salvajes, who had shared two the same members, in 1967.They recorded their debut single "La balsa" / "Ayer nomás", which turned into an unpredicted large scale hit in the Argentine winter of 67, selling over 200,000 copies, leading to their full-length debut later that year.
