The Havelock campus consists of three buildings: the Craven-Carteret-Pamlico Regional Library, the Lewis Redd classroom and laboratory building, and the IAT. The Redd Building contains the administration offices for the Havelock campus, six computer labs, classrooms, and the Academic Skills Center.
The station was assigned the call sign WKVO-FM in 1971, and was sold to MusicRadio, Inc. (a Maryland group) who changed the call sign to WMSQ ("Q105") in 1978. The station was a very valuable asset to the town of Havelock and the nearby Marine Air Station at Cherry Point during several hurricanes in the 1980s.
