Zastava Automobiles (Serbian: Застава Аутомобили, Zastava Automobili) was a Serbian international car manufacturer, a subsidiary of Group Zastava Vehicles which went bankrupt in May 2017. After many decades of producing different car and truck models under the Zastava brand, the company ceased all vehicle production in 2008.
United States imported over 140,000 Zastava vehicles, sold as Yugos. In 1989 Zastava produced a record 230,570 units. All in all, Zastava produced over 4 million vehicles between 1953 and 2001, and exported to 74 countries, making Kragujevac the center of the automotive industry of Serbia and the entire Yugoslav federation.

From 1955 to 2008, the Kragujevac plant manufactured Zastava Automobiles under the Zastava, Yugo, and Fiat brands. Serbia's central Šumadija region was severely impacted in the 1990s by the collapse of Yugoslavia, as well as the subsequent war and its sanctions.
The car was nearly identical to the facelifted Punto, with the only noticeable difference being the Zastava badges instead of Fiat ones. The only improvements to the Zastava 10 in relation to the Fiat Punto was that the engine reached Euro 4 standards, [1] and there was a more modernized colour palette, similar to the Fiat Grande Punto. The prototype of M20 MRAP was unveiled by Serbian Defence Ministry in June 2020. It was developed jointly by Military Technical Institute, FAP and Zastava TERVO.M20 is based on FAP 2228 6x6 chassis and uses "CUMMINS ISLe 8.9" engine (power 340 HP), an "ALLISON 3000S" gearbox and a "ZF STEYR 1600/396" drive distributor.
