Old California City Hall and Fire Station is a historic city hall and fire station located at California, Moniteau County, Missouri. It was built about 1892, and is a two-story, Italianate style red brick building. It has two one-story brick additions.

Orrin Grant Hatch (March 22, 1934 – April 23, 2022) was an American attorney and politician who served as a United States senator from Utah from 1977 to 2019. Hatch's 42-year Senate tenure made him the longest-serving Republican U.S. senator in history, overtaking Ted Stevens, until Chuck Grassley surpassed him in 2023.
A post office called Hatch was established in 1883, and remained in operation until 1905. [2] The community has the name of William H. Hatch (1833–1896), a U.S. Representative from Missouri. [ 3 ]
