Thanks for your remarks. The wow / mom ambigram is like the Necker cube : some will think of it as an ordinary cube, however, it is clearly an optical illusion. According to many publications I could read, ambigrams are "cognitive illusions", part of ambiguous images. Prefix ambi-means "both". The table below shows some similarities.
