I see now as of May 1 that this device is no longer on the list, nor are the other following devices that were approved for use earlier in 2023: Netgear C7100V, Motorola MT7711, and ARRIS SVG2482AC. As of May 2, it seems like the only modem-router combo for Xfinity Voice left is the Motorola MT8733 (aside from renting from Xfinity).
zandor60657. Generally speaking, no. You can't have multiple modems, modem/WiFi router combo units, or Comcast gateways at one residential address without jumping through hoops if it's even possible. It would also be expensive as you'd end up with two accounts.
I see. You're welcome to try this by hardwiring two routers to the Xfinity Gateway, although it's not recommended. By enabling bridge mode, it wouldn't cut down on bandwidth or anything. I currently have the rented XB3 DPC3941T cable modem/router combo because I love the home phone option. I am not too tech-savvy but I realize that most people are telling me I need at least AC1900 specs. I also realize that this combo is several years old and it probably doesn't meet or exceed these specs.
