The E.B. Mallett Office Building is a historic commercial building on Mill Street in Freeport, Maine.Now part of the Freeport Village Station shopping complex, it is an 1888 Italianate brick building designed by Portland architect Francis Fassett for Freeport's leading businessman of the period.
Freeport Corner was an inland village for farming and trade, but the 1849 entrance of the railroad helped it develop into the town's commercial center, which it remains. In the 19th century, fabric was sent from New York and Boston to be made into clothing by local piece workers.

One of the more impressive houses is the c. 1830 Harrington House (45 Main), a transitional Federal-Greek Revival brick house which is now home to the Freeport Historical Society. The Gould House (35 Main) was the most recent of the nine to be built; it was a Colonial Revival wood-frame structure built in 1922.
