DSB also houses the MFA Program. The first MFA class graduated in 2012. In 2009, the Design Square Apartments were completed. This new building replaced the older houses on Cleveland Avenue that had been previously repurposed for use by CCAD. Design Square Apartments offers housing to 200 graduate students, upperclassmen, and some freshmen.
Several other medical, criminal justice, and graphic design related programs were added to the curriculum over the next several years. With the addition of these programs, the school added classroom space in the nearby Point West Business Park. A branch campus called Florida Education Center-Lauderhill was opened in January 2005.

Bradford awarded both diplomas and applied science associate degrees. The school grouped its three major areas of study into three main categories: Culinary Arts, Veterinary Technology, and Physical Therapy. The school also offered Graphic Design courses in their past, though dropped this program after the class of 2017's graduation.
The college was founded in 1882 as the Western Reserve School of Design for Women, at first attended by one teacher and one pupil in the sitting room of its founder, Sarah Kimball. The school moved several times, first to the attic of the Old Cleveland City Hall, then to the Old Kelly homestead on Wilson Avenue (now East 55th Street).
