Tranzum Courier Service, commonly known as TCS, is a Pakistani courier and logistics company which is based in Karachi. It was founded as a joint venture with DHL by a former Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight engineer, Khalid Nawaz Awan and his brother Sadiq Awan in 1983.
It is now owned by the ULS (Universal Logistics Systems) Group and had, as of June 2009, 220 employees. During late 2008 and early 2009, three Airbus A310 aircraft were added to the fleet from Emirates SkyCargo. On 1 July 2009, telephone numbers in Karachi and Lahore were changed from seven digits to eight digits. This was accomplished by adding the digit 9 to the beginning of any phone number that started with a 9 (government and semi-government connexions), and adding the digit 3 to any phone numbers that did not start with the number 9.
