Kidderminster College is a post 16 Comprehensive College in Kidderminster, England providing full and part-time adult education. The College offers courses which specialise in hairdressing, engineering, creative industries, business administration, and construction, and collaborates closely with local employers on Skillfast, Train to Gain, and Goskills programmes.
In 1939 the annual College enrolment was around 600 students, most of whom attended evening classes. This had risen to 15,000 enrolled students in 2006, including 3,000 full-time students. Around 1,000 of the students were studying for Higher Education Qualifications.
At the end of the century, provoked by a growing need to provide a complete technical and vocational training, evening classes spread in large industrial cities. Port technical schools helped initiate "Festive Sundays", a complement to the workshops that were only open on Sundays. Subsequently, these Sunday courses moved to the evening.
