The Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage (OSTM) was a private for-profit massage school with campuses in Syracuse and Rochester, New York.Founded by Douglas Van D’Elia and Elizabeth Goldenberg, the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage was approved by the New York State Department of Education in 1997.
The school was founded in 1974 as the Seattle Massage School. In 1999 the school began operating under the Ashmead College name. [1] In August 2003, Corinthian Colleges, Inc. purchased Career Choices, Inc., the owner of Ashmead College, as a wholly owned subsidiary. [2]

The Bancroft School of Massage Therapy is a private for-profit trade school in Worcester, Massachusetts.It was founded in 1950 by Henry LaFleur, proprietor of the Bancroft Health Center, a facility specializing in Swedish massage and sports massage since 1938.
It first applied to the New York State Board of Regents and the Commissioner of education for accreditation in October 2004. By 2006 it had 818 enrolled undergraduates. Throughout late 2006 and early 2007 the school was evaluated and the board voted unanimously to support accreditation for a three-year period ending in 2010.
