Tony's son Adrian was a member of The Merseybeats from 2000 to 2009, as the Keyboardist. Crane still tours with The Merseybeats along with original member Billy Kinsley . They continue to tour and perform on the "sixties circuit", and at venues in the UK, and across Europe.
They had a backing band called The Fruit Eating Bears, which included guitarist Joey Molland, later of Badfinger. The Merseys ended in 1969, and Kinsley, Crane and a new lineup of performers recreated The Merseybeats. Kinsley left the band in 2020, and Crane carries on the bands legacy with his band Adrian.

Roger started his career with the band The Merseybeats in the early 1970s, along with members Tony Crane, Derek Cashin, and Tony Coates. They continued to perform under the name "Tony Crane and The Merseybeats" until leaving in 1975 to form the Liverpool Express.
Clarke had previously been a member of a band called The Escorts. In April 1973, this second version of the group became the only Merseybeat band to ever record for the John Peel Show on BBC Radio. The tracks from that show have now been included on the album Gerry and the Pacemakers Live at the BBC , released on Parlophone Records in October 2018.
