The News Literacy Project (NLP) is an American nonpartisan national education nonprofit, based in Washington, D.C., that provides resources for educators, students, and the general public to help them learn to identify credible information, recognize misinformation and disinformation, and determine what they can trust, share, and act on.
NCGE holds a webinar series that is open to all and free to members. Topics include teaching with web-based Geographic Information Systems, teaching about the Erie Canal using digital maps, imagery, and geographic inquiry, place-based learning, field work techniques, methods of teaching Advanced Placement Human Geography (APHG), and more.

TCRWP also has multi-day training institutes and one-day workshops for teachers and administrators at Teachers College, Columbia University. [20] [21] TCRWP works in thousands of classrooms and schools around the world. More than 170,000 teachers have attended the Project's week-long institutes, and over 4,000 teachers attend summer institutes.
