The Loggy Bayou Wildlife Management Area (WMA) consists of 6,558 acres (26.54 km 2), approximately 20 miles southeast of Bossier City in south Bossier Parish. The WMA is bordered on the north by LA 154 and the entire east side is bordered by Loggy Bayou.
The property, previously known as Terzia Game Preserve, under cooperative agreements with the state of Louisiana since 1935, was renamed Georgia Pacific WMA in 1966. Georgia Pacific Corporation transferred the property to a subsidy, The Timber Company , and the property was acquired by Plum Creek Timber Company during a 2001 merger.

The WMA is located approximately 15 miles southeast of Houma, east of Montegut and LA 55, west of Galliano and Golden Meadow on LA 1. The WMA is separated into two sections by LA 665 and Bayou Pointe Au Chien, that runs northwest to southeast, along with the parish boundaries. [1]
