BNN Breaking was a news website based in Hong Kong, launched in 2022 by Indian-American entrepreneur Gurbaksh Chahal. It was criticized for posting a number of misleading and inaccurate news stories, [ 1 ] using AI -driven content aggregation. [ 2 ]
The channel launched on November 17, 2015, replacing the American version that was readily available in Canada. The channel shut down on October 5, 2017, and Bloomberg subsequently partnered with established Canadian competitor Business News Network (BNN) in 2018 instead. As a result of the partnership, BNN rebranded to BNN Bloomberg.
