Hemorrhagic ovarian cysts are fluid-filled sacs that bleed into the ovary during ovulation. They usually don't cause symptoms or affect fertility, but may need surgery if they are large or painful.
Customer: Last period Jan 2024, have probable hemorrhagic cyst, that was shrinking, fibroids, and endometrial cystic changes (biopsy negative in Jan). Had cramping of ovary where cyst is about 2 weeks ago and have bright red spotting today. Could hyperplastic changes have developed since Jan, or more likely cystic, fibroid bleeding?
