The Route 66 Historical Village at 3770 Southwest Boulevard in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is an open-air museum along historic U.S. Route 66 (US 66, Route 66). [1] The village includes a 194-foot-tall (59 m) oil derrick at the historic site of the first oil strike in Tulsa on June 25, 1901, which helped make Tulsa the "Oil Capital of the World". [1]
In 1928, the rear of the tank was modified to strengthen it. [3] At the same time, a new design of brake-block was fitted. [3] The transmission was also heavily reworked. [5] The tank was the subject of industrial and political espionage, the plans ending up in the Soviet Union, where they may have influenced the design of the T-28 and T-35 tanks.

David John Fletcher MBE (born 1942 [1]) is an English author and military historian specialising in the history of armoured warfare, particularly that of the United Kingdom. He was an employee of The Tank Museum , Bovington from 1982 until December 2012, becoming the museum's longest serving member of staff. [ 2 ]
