House of Blues is an American chain of live music concert halls and restaurants. It was founded by Isaac Tigrett , the co-founder of Hard Rock Cafe , and Dan Aykroyd , co-star of the 1980 film The Blues Brothers . [ 1 ]

The show was produced by Michael Murphy Productions in conjunction with the House of Blues franchise, and was filmed at their Los Angeles location. [1] The program ended its run in 1996. It is a recording of the band's performance at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on 31 October 1999 during their world tour supporting their eighteenth studio album The Ladder. [5] By the time of the album's release, guitarist Billy Sherwood and keyboardist Igor Khoroshev were already out of the band, reducing Yes to a four-piece.
