Gulf Coast State College is a public college in Panama City, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System and offers the Associate of Arts degree, Associate of Science degree, certificates, and as of 2011, bachelor's degrees.
Gulf Coast State College athletic teams are nicknamed the Commodores and compete in the Panhandle Conference of the Florida State College Activities Association, a body of the National Junior College Athletic Association Region 8. Facilities for the center were located in the Bay County School Board Office Building and Gulf Coast Community College. In 1976, the Bay County Commission purchased 17.5 acres (71,000 m 2) located between Gulf Coast Community College and the beautiful waters of North Bay. The commission deeded the land to the State for use by the center.
