Ray Edward Cochran (/ ˈ k ɒ k r ən / KOK-rən; October 3, 1938 – April 17, 1960), known professionally as Eddie Cochran, was an American rock and roll musician.
He was one of the first on the scene of the April 1960 car crash that resulted in the death of American rock and roll musician Eddie Cochran and serious injury to Gene Vincent. [1] He later recounted that he started learning to play the guitar using Cochran's impounded Gretsch over several nights at the station. [3]
She wrote "Love Again" and "Cherished Memories" for Cochran and the 1959 hit "Somethin' Else" with Eddie's brother Bill Cochran. The Eddie Cochran Memorial Album is the second album by Eddie Cochran, released on Liberty Records in mono, LRP 3172, in May 1960. It had previously been issued as 12 of His Biggest Hits in April 1960 with the same catalogue number, but after Cochran's death on April 17 it was retitled and reissued, and has remained so titled ever since.
