Escape the Fate is an American post-hardcore band from Las Vegas, Nevada, formed in 2004. Originally from Pahrump, Nevada , the group currently consists of lead vocalist Craig Mabbitt , guitarists Matti Hoffman and TJ Bell, bassist Erik Jensen and drummer Robert Ortiz.
Craig Edward Mabbitt (born April 9, 1987) is an American singer and the lead vocalist for the rock band Escape the Fate. He was formerly the lead vocalist for the bands Blessthefall and The Word Alive .
Robert Ortiz was selected, and Escape the Fate was formed. A few weeks later, Omar Espinosa, who at the time was the guitarist for Lovehatehero, joined as rhythm guitarist. The band began to play in the post-hardcore scene in Las Vegas. During that time Carson Allen joined as keyboardist. The band recorded the demo Escape the Fate EP.

That year, he joined The Dead Rabbitts, the side-project of Escape The Fate singer, Craig Mabbitt. In late 2013, brothers Monte Money and Michael Money announced their departure from Escape The Fate to focus on their new project.
