David Neal Cox Sr. (November 30, 1970 – November 17, 2021) was an American convicted murderer who killed his wife, Kim Cox, by shooting her. Cox was arrested hours after the killing and was charged with capital murder, sexual battery, and several other offenses. Cox pleaded guilty to all eight charges and was sentenced to death in 2012.
