Efek Rumah Kaca (English: Greenhouse Effect) is an Indonesian indie rock band, formed in 2001. The band consists of Cholil Mahmud (lead vocal, guitar), Adrian Yunan Faisal (back vocals, bass, guitar), Airil "Poppie" Nur Abadiansyah (back vocals, bass) dan Akbar Bagus Sudibyo (drum, back vocals).
Sinestesia is the third studio album by Indonesian indie band Efek Rumah Kaca, released on December 18, 2015, on Jangan Marah Records. It was produced by Pandai Besi and the band. Recorded between 2009–15, Sinestesia is the band's first release since their 2008 album Kamar Gelap. [1]
The lyrics of "Efek Rumah Kaca" are about global warming, while "Bukan Lawan Jenis" addresses homosexuality. [2] "Jatuh Cinta Itu Biasa Saja" states that blind love is not good. [3] "Cinta Melulu" criticized the tendencies exhibited by Indonesian love songs, especially infidelity.
The recording of Kamar Gelap was more concentrated in studio, unlike the first album (which recorded at the band members' houses).
