Leave This Town is the second album by the American rock band Daughtry, released on July 14, 2009, by RCA Records. [2] It is the first album that they recorded as a band, as their self-titled debut album was recorded before the band was formed and only lead singer Chris Daughtry was signed to the label.

The band's second album, Leave This Town, was released in July 2009 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, becoming Daughtry's second number one album in the United States. To date, Leave This Town has sold over 1.3 million copies in the United States and has been certified platinum by the RIAA.
However, Chad Kroeger who was in the studio with Daughtry, came across Dill's demo and pictured a heavier sound of the song for the band.
