On 11 November 2013, Drukčiji Radio was re-registered in Communications Regulatory Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina as private, commercial radio station, the legal successor [7] of the former public radio station Radio/Radiopostaja Novi Travnik. Novi Travnik was established in 1949 to accommodate workers from the MMK Bratstvo factory, which became a vital part of the town's economy. By the late 1980s, the factory employed over 7,000 people, making Novi Travnik one of the most prosperous towns in the former Yugoslavia. However, the Yugoslav Wars significantly disrupted life in the area.
