The Selfish Giant is a 2013 British coming-of-age drama film written and directed by Clio Barnard. Inspired by Oscar Wilde 's short story of the same name , it stars Conner Chapman and Shaun Thomas as two teenage boys who get caught up in the world of copper theft.
It opened at the Royal Theatre, Northampton from 4 to 7 April 2018, followed by a run in London's West End at the Vaudeville Theatre from 10 to 14 April 2018.
