The Fuccons (/ ˈ f uː ˌ k ɒ n s /), known as Oh! Mikey (オー!マイキー, Ō! Maikī) in Japan, is a Japanese sketch comedy series created by Yoshimasa Ishibashi.It features the Fuccons, a family of American expatriates living in Japan, with characters played by mannequins filmed at various locations in real-time.
It is the 28th film of the popular comedy manga and anime series Crayon Shin-chan, and first in the Reiwa era. [ 2 ] [ 3 ] The film was originally scheduled for release in theaters on April 24, 2020, in Japan, but was postponed to September 11, 2020, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic .
The film premiered in Japan on December 25, 2020, and was initially set to premier worldwide in 2021, ultimately being released in the United States on December 30, 2021. The first three minutes are being streamed online with English subtitles. [5] The English dub premiered at the Animation Is Film festival in Los Angeles on October 23, 2021.
