Antena 7 (formerly known as Antena Latina) is a television network in the Dominican Republic owned and operated by Albavision, it is headquartered in Santo Domingo. It began to broadcast on October 16, 1999 after the shutdown of the former RAHINTEL .

The channel was first aired on August 1, 1952 with the name La Voz Dominicana. This was the first television transmitter of its kind in the country and the fifth [2] in Latin America, after Mexico, Brazil, Cuba, and Argentina. The original owner was José Arismendy Trujillo (Petán), brother of the notorious dictator Rafael Trujillo (d. 1961). [3]
Today, many international events like the Oscars, Emmys, and some of most popular events in Latin America, such as the Festival Internacional de la Canción de Viña del Mar are viewed on Tele Antillas Canal 2. [1] It was one of the first channels in the Dominican Republic to offer foreign made programming from Brazil and Venezuela.
