State Highway 26 (SH 26) is a 3-mile (4.8 km) long state highway in Denver, Colorado, United States.It follows a portion of Alameda Avenue, stretching east from SH 95 (Sheridan Boulevard) at the west city limits to Kalamath Street within the Interstate 25 (I-25) and U.S. Route 85 (US 85) interchange (I-25 exit 208).
The route begins at an interchange with SR 99 in eastern Stockton. SR 26 then exits Stockton after crossing a canal and heads eastward. After crossing Jack Tone Road, the direction of the highway turns slightly more northeasterly. The road then briefly enters the city of Linden, before intersecting Escalon-Bellota Road.
The longest highway in the state is Interstate 70 which has a span of 449.51 miles (723.42 km) that runs west to east across the state, serving Grand Junction, Denver, Aurora, and Limon. Interstate 270, I-70's only auxiliary route in Colorado, is the shortest interstate highway in the state, spanning about 7 miles (11 km).
