State Route 419 (SR 419), also known as Pigeon Ridge Road, is a 4.0-mile-long (6.4 km) north–south state highway in Cumberland County, Tennessee. It serves as the primary road in and out of Cumberland Mountain State Park. Even though it is signed north–south, SR 419 primarily goes in an east–west direction.
The fairgrounds originally opened in 1891 as a horse racing track named Cumberland Park. [2] The park became the home of the Tennessee State Fair in 1906 and was purchased by the Davidson County government (later Metro) in 1910. [3] At that state fair, on June 22, 1910, attendees witnessed the first night-time airplane flight.
KY 90 from Snow through Burkesville (Cumberland County) and Marrowbone, to Summer Shade (Metcalfe County), back through Glasgow, to its western terminus at the junction with KY 70 and Interstate 65 (I-65) at Cave City, Kentucky, about 5 miles (8.0 km) short of Mammoth Cave National Park.

Harness racing at the Cumberland Fair. The annual Maine State Pumpkin and Squash Weigh-Off is held at the fair. [1] The winner of the event receives $500. An adult is limited to one entry in the giant squash and pumpkin weigh-off. [1] The 2015 winner of this event was Edwin Pierpont, who harvested a 1,046 pound pumpkin. [2]
