The Hall of Fame Bridge is a through arch bridge over Interstate 77 (I-77) in the American city of Canton, Ohio. The bridge was dedicated on June 19, 2006, 6 years after the initial concept was imagined. The landmark bridge was built to complement the Pro Football Hall of Fame located just South of the bridge.
Two other halls of fame have been merged into the World Golf Hall of Fame. The PGA of America established one in 1940, which was merged into the Pinehurst Hall in the 1980s. The Hall of Fame of Women's Golf was established by the LPGA in 1951, with four charter members: Patty Berg, Betty Jameson, Louise Suggs, and Babe Zaharias.

The Ohio Open is the Ohio state open golf tournament, open to both amateur and professional golfers. It is organized by the Northern Ohio section of the PGA of America . It was first played in 1924 and has been played annually (with minor disruptions) at a variety of courses around the state.
