When the content presented in a TV program or series spans other media formats such as radio, film, video game, or print, then an associated overview page (an article describing and summarizing the items of the franchise) should occupy the primary article title (e.g. Star Trek), but may be disambiguated as Series name (franchise) when required.

"Series (pilot)" might look consistent with "Series (film)", but the naming pattern "Pilot (Series)" is meant to be consistent with other episode articles, and that makes more sense to me. I might support using "Pilot episode (Series)" to avoid some confusing titles like "Pilot (JAG)" (which exists as a redirect, not an article).
A station may also change its format without changing its name. A new article should only be created if there is a substantive change in the station's method of operation that is not a format change. In rare cases, a name change in a station is far deeper than a change in format.
Naming an article about a series season in the "List of ..." format discourages editors from expanding that article into a real article. Actually, this is the same point I tried to make earlier, about a list article not named "List of ..." being no more "deceitful" (as had been argued) than a stub article named normally.
