Echague, officially the Municipality of Echague, is a municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, it has a population of 88,410 people. [ 3 ] The town is known for the indigenous and endangered Yogad language , which is spoken and conserved by its locals.
José Ortiz-Echagüe (2 August 1886 in Guadalajara – 7 September 1980 in Madrid) was a Spanish entrepreneur, industrial and military engineer, pilot and photographer, founder of Construcciones Aeronáuticas SA (CASA) and Honorary lifetime President of SEAT (Sociedad Española de Automóviles de Turismo).
Self-portrait (1912) Antonio Ortiz Echagüe (15 October 1883, Guadalajara, Spain – 8 January 1942, Buenos Aires, Argentina) was a Spanish costumbrista painter, who spent much of his career in other countries.
The district consists of the city of Cauayan and the municipalities of Echague, San Guillermo, and San Isidro. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Faustino A. Dy V of Lakas–CMD , who has represented the district since its creation.

Echagüe began his career with Primera División side Independiente. [2] [3] [4] He made his senior debut on 20 June 2009 during a fixture with San Lorenzo, coming off the substitutes bench in place of Roberto Vissio with twenty-four minutes remaining. [2]

Echagüe was born in San Sebastian (Guipúzcoa), Spain on 13 February 1815. [1] He was the son of Joaquín Echagüe y Barbería and María Josefa Bermingham Measher. [2] He entered the military at the age of eighteen, and in October 1833 he became a sub-lieutenant. [1]
