Napoleon II (Napoléon François Joseph Charles Bonaparte; 20 March 1811 – 22 July 1832) was the disputed Emperor of the French for a few weeks in 1815. He was the son of Emperor Napoleon I and Empress Marie Louise, daughter of Emperor Francis I of Austria. Napoleon II had been Prince Imperial of France and King of Rome since birth.

Napoleon II, the Eagle (French: Napoléon II, l'Aiglon, in English Napoleon II, the eaglet (or young eagle) is a 1961 French historical drama film directed by Claude Boissol and starring Bernard Verley, Jean Marais and Danièle Gaubert. The scenario was written by Paul Andréota and based on a novel of André Castelot.
The film follows the life of Napoleon from his early life in Corsica to his death at Saint Helena in May 1821. The film is notable for its use of location shooting for numerous scenes, especially at the French estates of Malmaison and Fontainebleau, the Palace of Versailles, and sites of Napoleonic battles including Austerlitz and Waterloo.
Prominent film personalities across the world attended the event, with Jackie Chan, in his first such appearance, being Hollywood's ambassador for the function. Other prominent regional Indian artistes such as Amitabh Bachchan , Mammootty , Vijay and Madhavan attended the launch. [ 16 ]
