Global Environment Outlook (GEO) is a series of reports that review the state and direction of the global environment, issued periodically by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). The GEO project is a response to the environmental reporting requirements of UN Agenda 21 and to a UNEP Governing Council decision of May 1995.

GEO-2000 is the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Global Environment Outlook 2000. The UNEP launched the Global Environment Outlook in 1995 to assess environmental issues and to have them published. The first report was published in 1997, while the second report, known as GEO-2000, was published in 1999.
Assessing the Environmental Impacts of Consumption and Production: Priority Products and Materials is a scientific assessment published in 2010 by the International Resource Panel (IRP) of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP).
