The London and South East Rugby League is a summer rugby league competition for amateur teams in London and the surrounding area. The competition was formed in 2005 as the RLC Southern Premier. [1] Its name changed following the 2012 restructure of amateur rugby league in Great Britain.
The club was formed mainly from players from Brighton College. The 1st XV play in the Regional 1 South Central – a league at level 5 of the English rugby union system – following their promotion from London 1 South via the play-offs at the end of 2018–19. The 2nd XV play in Sussex Spitfire 1.
The first competitive game played at the stadium was the 2010–11 season final of the Sussex Senior Cup between Brighton and Eastbourne Borough on 16 July 2011.
