Annan Athletic Football Club is a Scottish association football club based in the town of Annan, Dumfries and Galloway. The club was founded in 1942 and competes in Scottish League One as a member of the Scottish Professional Football League .

1889–90 Churchill Cup, Our Boys 6–12 5th K.R.V., Annandale Observer, 15 November 1889. The club was formed in 1885 under the name of Our Boys. [2] Its first competitive football came in the Churchill Cup, for clubs in the south-west counties, in 1889–90; its first tie was a 12–6 defeat to the 5th K.R.V., and the club did not enter the competition again until 1892–93.
Galabank is a football stadium in the town of Annan, Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. It is the home ground of Scottish Professional Football League club Annan Athletic, who have played there since 1953. The ground has been shared by non-League teams Mid-Annandale (2012–2014) and Edusport Academy (2015–2019).

Annan Athletic (1987–2008), Dalbeattie Star (2001–2009) and Threave Rovers (1998–2004) have all run teams in the East of Scotland League. From the 2008–09 season, Annan Athletic has played in the Scottish Football League. Dalbeattie Star and Threave Rovers joined the newly formed Scottish Lowland Football League for the 2013–14 season.
The 2011–12 season was Annan Athletic's fourth consecutive season in the Scottish Third Division, having been admitted to the Scottish Football League at the start of the 2008–09 season. [1] Annan also competed in the Challenge Cup, League Cup and Scottish Cup.
