R170 SLK-Class. The R170 Mercedes SLK was the first generation compact roadster produced by Mercedes-Benz, from 1995 to 2004. SLK 55 AMG M113 E55 engine. The M113 55 is a 5.4 L (5,439 cc) version with the same 97 mm (3.82 in) bore as the M113 50/500 but with a longer 92 mm (3.62 in) stroke developed by Mercedes-AMG. These cars were the first to carry the 55 AMG title.
