It's been YEARS since we left from Port Everglades, and I've never driven to that port -- we used to always fly in. We're cruising on Royal Caribbean Symphony of the Seas in January 2024. I'm looking at the parking options around the port. There are so many options, but several are asking which Terminal we will use.
Posted February 2. Parking in the Palm garage was easy. You can swing by the entrance to the Beyond and drop off your luggage with a porter and then go park. Lots of port employees directing traffic. I was worried about the elevator waits on the return but they have an employee at the elevators, moving things along.
Our favorite Florida Port. Download the app (unofficial) CruiseSchedule Port Everglades, it lists all ships/dates/docks at Port Everglades. Sometimes a ship will embark on one dock and debark at another so determine this prior to picking where you want to park. Many options on the Port (lots near dock, central parking garage) and off the Port.
We parked there last week. Since Edge was the only ship sailing, the deck was empty. The cost was $15/day. You can drop your bags with the porters and then double back to park. Way cheaper than MIA port parking. You do have to show your boarding pass and ID before they let you enter the port property. 1.
Using the Port Everglades Terminal Parking, instead of offsite parking, as the terminal parking is inside and only a little more per day than the sites that are outside and a couple of miles away requiring a shuttle. I believe that all of the terminal parking, no matter which terminal #, has direct access to the ship via an easy walk.
It appears that the hourly rate at Port Everglades is $3.00 per hour. If it is like it used to be, you reach the maximum daily rate of $15.00 in 5 hours, you are only paying for the first 5 hours, the other 19 hours are free or at no extra charge for that 24 hour period.
I did a little research and found out Port Everglades has two parking garages: 1. PALM Parking Garage at Terminals 19,21,25,26 & 29 (need shuttle for 29) 2. HERON Parking Garage (brand new) at Terminals 2 & 4 (pre-pay for easy departure) They charge $15 per day. Not too bad.

I live about 35 min from port Everglades. Do not spend the money to park at the port. Park at park n go. So easy and much cheaper. They are awesome and safe. Go online and reserve ahead of time. if u went out of Miami I would tell you to park at port but not in Fort Lauderdale.

We arrived between 10:30 -11:00 and there was plenty of parking. We took elevator down and rolled luggage over to porters.
